How this website handles information you give it, and how the firm handles information once you are a client or a candidate.

This website

When you use the inquiry form, we store your name, email, organization, the matter you selected, and your message so the firm can respond. We also keep the confirmation email addressed to you. That record is not published on the site and is not sold. If you email contact@aethercounsel.com or call +1 (248) 225-9205, that message is ordinary correspondence and is kept with the matter or recruiting file it relates to.

We do not sell personal information. We do not run advertising trackers on this site. The host that serves the site may keep standard connection logs — address, time, and the page requested — for security and operations.

Clients and adverse parties

Once we are engaged, information you give us is handled under our professional duties and the engagement letter, which controls if it differs from this page. We share it with people who need it for the matter: forensic vendors, local counsel, courts, and regulators you instruct us to approach.

Candidates

Applications sent through the contact page or by email are read by the partners hiring for that role. We keep them for the search and a short period after, then delete them unless we are required to retain a record.
